POINTR for Urban Security
POINTR P3000 and POINTR Moonlight are Highway License Plate Recognition System solutions that automatically read the license plates of vehicles traveling on roads, determine vehicle make, type, and color information, and transfer the resulting data to central systems.
Thanks to a high-resolution camera, built-in IR illumination, and embedded image processing unit, the systems operate during both day and night; detected vehicle and license plate information can be transmitted to a remote center through wired or wireless communications infrastructure.
POINTR P3000 and POINTR Moonlight are license plate recognition systems that detect vehicles on the road through image-based analysis and automatically read license plates on the field unit. License plate, make, type, color, passage date/time, monitoring location, and vehicle image are combined under the same record.
The system operates in integration with the Turkish National Police License Plate Recognition System Central Software and POLNET infrastructure. This enables vehicle passage records obtained from field points to be displayed, queried, archived, and used in security operations centrally.
When suitable camera and system architecture are used, additional functions such as in-vehicle imaging can also be supported; these images can be used by authorized law enforcement units in vehicle and person-description assessment activities.
Highway monitoring capabilities extending from license plate recognition to person-description assessment.
The same license plate recognition infrastructure can be integrated into different traffic enforcement and security applications.
POINTR P3000 and Moonlight provide a flexible license plate recognition infrastructure for centralized monitoring of vehicle movements on roads.
They automatically read vehicle license plates, determine make, type, and color information, and transfer the records to a central system.
No. Vehicle make, type, and color can also be identified in addition to the license plate.
Yes. Built-in IR illumination enables operation at night and under low-light conditions.
The systems are housed in IP66-, IK10-, and NEMA 4X-rated enclosures and support 24/7 outdoor operation.
Vehicle and license plate records can be sent to the central server via FTP; wired or wireless communication can be used depending on field infrastructure.
No. Records are stored in local memory and sent to the central server when the connection is restored.
Yes. It can operate in integration with the EGM License Plate Recognition System Central Software and POLNET infrastructure.
In-vehicle imaging can be supported when suitable camera and system architecture are used; image quality depends on field and environmental conditions.
The POINTR P3000 license plate recognition unit is a field product that can be used in different project architectures. In the highway system it generates passage records, while in the Average Speed System it is used to match entry and exit license plate records.
By recording vehicle passages on roads together with license plate, vehicle, date, and location information, it supports authorized institutions in querying, tracking, and incident investigation processes.
