Safer Junctions with K3000
POINTR K3000 is an Electronic Enforcement System solution that detects vehicles committing red-light violations at signalized junctions on a lane-by-lane basis.
The system evaluates traffic signal status together with vehicle movements to identify vehicles crossing during the red phase; the violating vehicle’s license plate is read automatically, and pre- and post-violation images are recorded and transferred to the PLATÜRK EDS Central Software.
POINTR K3000 is an image-based enforcement system that automatically detects red-light violations by monitoring traffic signal status and vehicle movement within each lane.
A separate license plate recognition unit is used for each lane; the license plate image, wide-angle incident image, and violation information are combined within the same record and sent to the central software. Generated records are submitted for operator review, and the penalty notice process is managed through the central software.
Red-light enforcement capabilities extending from lane-based detection to central review.
POINTR K3000 enables red-light violations at signalized junctions to be monitored continuously and documented.
POINTR K3000 detects vehicles committing red-light violations at signalized junctions on a lane-by-lane basis, reads their license plates, and transfers incident images to the central EDS software.
The system verifies that the traffic signal is red and monitors vehicles passing through a virtual loop area defined on the camera image. A violation record is created when a vehicle crosses the control area during the red phase.
A virtual loop is a vehicle detection area defined by software on the camera image. It does not require a physical sensor to be installed in the road surface.
Yes. It can perform lane-based violation detection using a separate POINTR 3000 License Plate Recognition Unit for each lane.
Yes. High-resolution video recordings from before and after the violation can be created and transferred to the central software.
No. When traffic signal status cannot be reliably verified, the system can automatically suspend violation detection.
No. Records are retained in device memory and sent to the central system when the network connection is restored.
Yes. The system can be deactivated centrally when the junction is managed by traffic police.
No. The system prepares the penalty notice and submits the relevant record for operator approval.
Images and processed data generated by the system are transferred to the PLATÜRK EDS Central Software.
