As ISSD A.Ş., we process your personal data and, by taking the technical and administrative measures prescribed by law, we make every effort to protect it. With this text, we wish to inform you in detail about how your personal data is processed.
1. DEFINITIONS
As used in this text;
Personal Data: Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
Processing of Personal Data: Any operation performed on personal data — including obtaining, recording, storing, retaining, altering, reorganizing, disclosing, transferring, taking over, making available, classifying, or preventing the use of — and, following collection, extending through deletion, destruction, or anonymization.
Law on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”): Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data.
ISSD: ISSD Bilişim Elektronik Eğt. San. ve Tic. A.Ş. together with the company and its group companies.
Data Controller: The natural or legal person who determines the purposes and means of processing personal data and is responsible for establishing and managing the data recording system.
2. COLLECTION AND PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA
The data controller for the data processed on the issd.com.tr website is ISSD. ISSD processes your personal data within the limits prescribed by the Constitution of the Republic of Türkiye, the international conventions to which our country is a party, and all legislation on the protection of personal data, chiefly the KVKK.
Although it may vary according to the services provided and activities carried out via the issd.com.tr website, the following data may be collected electronically in line with your declaration or with your knowledge:
- If you contact us through the “Contact Us” tab; the name and e-mail address you provide, the content of your message, and your device information and IP data (source and destination point information).
- If you complete the job application form via the “Careers” tab; your name, phone number, and e-mail address in the form, as well as the data you upload yourself to the résumé field.
Your collected personal data will be processed, as prescribed by the KVKK, in accordance with the principles of:
- Being processed lawfully and fairly,
- Being accurate and, where necessary, up to date,
- Being processed for specified, explicit, and legitimate purposes,
- Being relevant, limited, and proportionate to the purposes of processing,
- Being retained for the period prescribed by the relevant legislation or required for the purpose of processing.
3. PURPOSES OF PROCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA
Your personal data may be processed for the purposes of:
- Carrying out the work necessary for you to benefit from our services and activities,
- Recommending the services and activities offered by ISSD to you, personalized according to your preferences, usage habits, and needs, and providing the necessary technical support and quality in line with your requests,
- Enabling fast and seamless sharing by linking the site with social networks,
- Informing you of our new services and activities and, accordingly, providing you with the most suitable product and service,
- Providing audio and video services via issd.com.tr,
- Developing, improving, and expanding our services and activities by conducting the necessary measurements,
- Initiating and maintaining employment processes,
- Carrying out ISSD’s human resources policies,
- Responding to any questions and complaints regarding our services and activities,
- Taking all necessary technical and administrative measures within the scope of data security,
- Providing the necessary information and carrying out administrative operations in line with the requests and audits of regulatory and supervisory bodies and official authorities,
- Measuring customer satisfaction,
- Fulfilling our legal obligations as prescribed and required by legal regulations, such as processing online visitor data in accordance with the relevant legislation.
For these purposes, and within the scope of Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK:
- Where it is expressly provided for in the relevant laws,
- Where processing personal data of the parties to a contract is necessary, provided that it is directly related to the conclusion or performance of the contract,
- Where it is mandatory for ISSD to fulfill a legal obligation,
- Where the data has been made public by the data subject themselves,
- Where processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of ISSD, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject,
- Where necessary, obtaining your explicit consent,
your data may be processed.
4. TRANSFER OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA
Your personal data may be transferred, within the framework of the personal data processing conditions and purposes set out in Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK, for the purposes of:
- To lawyers, auditors, tax advisors, and other third parties from whom we receive consultancy and services; so that we can conduct our business processes in accordance with the law and our legitimate interests and exercise our right of defense in any potential legal proceedings,
- To the proxies and representatives you have authorized; so that we can carry out the transactions within the scope of the authority you have granted,
- To regulatory and supervisory bodies and other official institutions such as courts and enforcement offices, and to other public institutions or organizations authorized to request your personal data; so that we can fulfill our legal obligations.
5. YOUR RIGHTS REGARDING THE PROTECTION OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA
With regard to your personal data, you have the right to:
- Learn whether your personal data is being processed,
- Request information if your personal data has been processed,
- Learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether it is used in accordance with its purpose,
- Know the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred domestically or abroad,
- Request correction of your personal data if it has been processed incompletely or inaccurately,
- Request the deletion or destruction of your personal data within the conditions set out in Article 7,
- Request that operations carried out pursuant to items (5) and (6) be notified to the third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,
- Object to a result arising against you due to the analysis of your processed data exclusively through automated systems,
- Request compensation for damages in the event you suffer damage due to the unlawful processing of your personal data.
You may submit your requests within the scope of these rights by contacting us in writing via registered mail with return receipt, in person, or through a notary; or by using a registered electronic mail (KEP) address, secure electronic signature, mobile signature, or the e-mail address you have previously notified to us and which is registered in our system, if any. Your requests will be concluded free of charge within thirty days at the latest from the date they reach us through the specified means.
As stated in the “Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller,” published by the Personal Data Protection Authority in the Official Gazette dated 10 March 2018 and numbered 30356, the requests in your application will be answered free of charge; however, if the response is provided in writing, a fee of 1 TL may be charged for each page over the first ten pages, and if the response is provided on a recording medium such as a CD or flash drive, a fee not exceeding the cost of the recording medium may be charged. If your application arises from an error on our part, the fee will be refunded to you.
Your application will be answered in accordance with the relevant provisions of the KVKK, and in order to verify that the applicant is the correct person, ISSD may request certain verifying information from you; this information will be requested solely to determine the identity of the actual data subject and to share the application results with the correct person.
